Next Tuesday, June 17, an international online workshop will be held, hosted by the Community of Researchers on Excellence for All (CREA) and the Rutgers University Center for Research on Ending Violence: “The Adolescence series on Netflix highlights the problem; research with social impact proposes the solution.” This online gathering brings together leading researchers and educators to share practical solutions to youth violence, based in scientific evidence of social impact. Whether you’re a parent, educator, social worker, or student, this session offers valuable insights — especially for those working with adolescents aged 13–18.
Speakers:
• Dr. Ramon Flecha, Emeritus Professor at the University of Barcelona. First scientist worldwide in the categories of “Gender Violence” and “Social Impact” (Google Scholar).
• Dr. Ane Lopez de Aguileta, co-founder of MeToo Schools.
• Dr. Harkaitz Zubiri, Associate Professor at the University of the Basque Country.
It will be introduced by Dr. Sarah McMahon, Director of the Center for Research on Ending Violence at Rutgers School of Social Work.
